Frequently Asked Questions
I currently have a base in both Cheshire and Warwickshire, but I’m more than happy to travel further afield. I have a free travel radius of 20 miles, and after that, I charge 45p per mile from whichever base is closer to your venue. For locations more than 1 hour 45 minutes away, I will usually also ask for an accommodation contribution. I'm also available for destination weddings across Europe!
Your date is fully secured once I’ve received both the signed contract and the deposit. Until then, if I receive another enquiry for the same date, I’ll always let you know and give you first priority to confirm your booking.
Alongside signing the contract I ask for a 30% deposit in order to secure your date. After this the remainder is not due until one week before the event.
Absolutely! As long as it’s at least two months before your date (and subject to availability), you’re welcome to add extra sections to your day. You can also upgrade your package to include additional requested songs, up until that point.
Yes! I have a full song list on the ‘portfolio & song list’ tab of this website that gets updated with new options every week!
You are able to have as much or as little to do with my set lists as you would like. If you want to be involved you will receive a link to an online form where you can pick your songs, allowing you to have full control. However, if you would rather I send over suggested set lists this is also absolutely fine!
Of course! I love making sure your favourite songs are part of your day. I include specific requests free of charge for key moments (aisle song, wedding breakfast entrance, and first dance). If you’d like me to learn additional songs beyond these, I’m more than happy to - there’s just a small extra cost. This covers the extra time I spend perfecting the song so it’s performance ready for your big day. You’ll find these details in the upgrades section of my pricing sheet.
Yes - anything is on the table, and I’ll always give every request my best shot! To this date, I’ve never had to say no. But if for any reason a song isn’t possible, I’ll let you know well in advance, and I can always add it to my background playlist during breaks if it’s important to you.
100%! Around two months before your date, I’ll send you a booking link to arrange a call. During this chat, we’ll cover everything from logistics to your colour scheme to song choices - making sure every detail is just right for your day.
Yes, this is completely normal, and I’m more than happy to send over my Public Liability Insurance certificate to you or directly to your venue. As all of my equipment is battery powered, PAT testing isn’t required - so you can assure them everything is covered.
I usually arrive at the venue around one hour before my first performance. This gives me plenty of time to set up and get changed, so everything is ready to go. I also allow a generous traffic buffer, so more often than not, I’ll be there even earlier!
Absolutely! My equipment is battery powered, so I’m more than happy to perform outdoors. I do recommend having some form of shelter where possible, as it helps protect the equipment and ensures the best sound quality for the microphone. In the case of unfortunate weather, I kindly ask that an alternative indoor space is available so the music can continue without interruption.
I usually recommend allowing around 20 minutes for me to move and set up my equipment between areas of the venue.
Yes! I provide a Spotify playlist tailored to match the atmosphere of each part of your day. You’re more than welcome to make requests, and I’m happy to add them into the playlist on the day too.
